What version of Comskip does Channels DVR use? The free or the donators version? If it’s the free version, then I would love to be able to use the Donator’s version.
Comskip is scanning shows from PBS stations i.e. no commercials. Is there a way to eliminate channels from being processed?
My first experience with HTPC was with SageTV and those were options.
Is there a way to import movie ratings? Another feature I used on SageTV. IIRC, SageTV use the IMDB database. I’m not a programmer (unless you’re talking Fortran) and would have no idea where to start or even if it’s possible with Channels DVR.
Also, on the Movie tab, On now is nice but for recording purposes “Upcoming” is more practical. I don’t want Channels to start recording a movie that’s already running. Also Upcoming should be for all the future listings.
