My iMac has been running incredibly slow(almost unusable). I pulled up activity monitor and noticed comskip was using any where from 75%-95% of my processor. How do I fix this other than turning it off completely?
Is it an old iMac? I just upgraded to an i5 nuc and there’s no issue with comskip and transcoding anymore.
I5 processor and 8gb ram
Commercial detection uses a lot of resources. It’s already configured to use no more than one CPU, so it should never go above 100% cpu. (By default it will peg all your cores and hit 400% on a 4-core CPU).
What kind of HDHR are you using?
