Can you load my.ChannelsDVR.net on your phone over LTE
If so then it's working and you don't need to change anything.
it says remote acess is enabled but we can not reach your server. please ensure that port 8089 has been properly fowarded from your router to the ip address of the computer you installed channels dvr server on
mychannelsdvr.net doesnt work but when i type the external ip and the 8089 it works but not on the remote computers just on the phone
I don't know where these 26.x.x.x IPs are coming from but that may be part of the problem.
First you should pick one device to run the DVR. If its installed on multiple and they're all trying to enable remote access it will cause problems.
What is your PC plugged into? Is it on wifi or ethernet?
no I was using a vpn I since deleted it
the ip no is 67.85.165.122:8089
the pc is wifi the sheild is erthernet. I want channels server on the sheild
On the PC download and run our installer, and select Uninstall

On the SHIELD dvr page, is it set to manual or automatic?
Take a screenshot of your router settings where it shows the port forward and paste it here.

Thank you very much i went to the installer uninstalled it fron the other computers and now it works. Thank you very much for your help. For some reason now i lost metv which is channel 33 on optimum
now the problem I am facing is that some channels buffer with the circle and never play and some wont even start how do I fix this?
