Congrats to the devs on the big shipping milestone

I first tried Channels on a lark, and it quickly became the main way we consume media in our house. We use every source it makes available: antenna for the broadcast networks, TVE for others, strmlnks for our digital movie library and streaming shows, local content for our own video files, and occasionally a PlayOn recording. We've also recently divvied up our shows and movies into various collections which helps keep everyone happy.

The devs have been great in fixing just about everything that I reported during pre-release. Of course there are always fixes and features that I still look forward to, but I just wanted to take a minute to congratulate the team on the milestone!

This is so great. Thanks so much for the feedback. It sounds cheesy, but this is really what we do it for.

It’s so fun to still be excited working on it, and hearing things like this amplifies it.

I too totally agree best and most flexible dvr /client software ... I have ever used well worth the subscription.

Agree 100%. I'm a proud subscriber and recommend Channels whenever possible. It just works, and works well. The devs are super fantastic, so responsive, and well, talented.

Dev made a lot of progress since I signed up.

Since I started. They added virtual channels(my favorite feature) , invisible clock, playon support, on later (only available on cultists hardware), channels collections, more settings in admin, ability to import your own content. Lots of stability issues.

No matter what anyone complains of (except for clock) the device reply within 1 hour saying " download new beta". I appreciate the fast responses.

So im down for giving shout out to the devs. Yall are great.

Edit: I forgot yall added fast play. This shit is awesome. I love fat play. I use it on Netflix daily

I'll pile on as well. I was a big fan of WMC and never could find a good replacement until Channels came along. The community surrounding this is also great. Kudos to the Devs for not only creating a great platform, but establishing this community that allows us to connect with like minded cord cutters.

I want to say thank you as well. I switched from Tivo w/Cablecard to Channels on a RaspberryPI and TVE as my source. I thought it was just going to be an experiment. 6 months later, I haven't looked back once!

I agree whole heartedly. I have been a cord cutter for over 10 years and tried almost every dvr app out there including Kodi, Emby, Plex, WMC and more and for a reliable and user friendly dvr this beats them all hands down. Keep up the good work!

I agree 100%.. I was a 20 year tivo user, but when my tivo died, I couldn't justify paying close to $1000 for another device when I dont trust Comcast to continue to support cablecard longterm, so I "experimented" with Channels, and we are true believers now since July!!
