Connection lost typically occurs after 5mins on local channels. I have the HDHomerun Connect Duo Connected via Ethernet, not WiFi. I can watch using hdhomerun app on Xbox via WiFi with no issues so I doubt it’s the network.
Is the hdhomerun firmware up to date?
Try the free apps InstaTV or VLC to see if they have the same problem on that Apple Tv
