I set up a simple Channels kiosk for my mom and she's learning the ropes. She's technophobic and resistant to change but I'm optimistic she'll be loving it soon. The app really is perfect for her needs and finally she agreed to cut the cord from Dish (!)
Fortunately her new OTA antenna is picking up all of her locals in pristine quality. What I'm noticing though is that the limits I placed for "Content Allowlist" in the "Server Side Only" Client settings are only working for Movies and TV Shows. The Videos tab on the other hand is showing all of the videos in the library, and not just the ones with the label(s) I've selected for the Allowlist.
Is this a bug or am I am doing something wrong? Again, just to make it clear, this Content Allowlist setting working fine for the Movies and Shows tabs, it's just not working at all for the Videos tab, and I do not want my mom being able to see or play anything in the Videos group unless it’s been specifically labelled "Mom." Is that possible?
