Hello all, I recently setup a raspberry pi as a server. It works great with my hdhomerun! However when I try to add my DirecTV login for the TVE it spins then says !Context Cancelled. I know my login information is correct. It worked when I tried setting a channels server up on my laptop... Any tips? Thanks!
Here is my log

I didn't think that TVE was supported for ARM processors, but perhaps I am mistaken ...
Currently, being addressed:
I think we should emphasize that this is still experimental and I don’t believe the pi is officially supported yet (and we have no guarantee it ever will be).
This bug has been fixed in the latest build v2019.08.22.0047
It works, thank you so much! In the mean time I purchased a gigabyte brix with a Celeron J4105 and 4gb ram. It cost twice alas much as the rpi4 though... I’ll test it shortly. Will it give me twice the performance or should I return it now that the rpi4 can do TVE DVR? I’m mainly streaming to my android tv box in the living room. Thanks for all of your support guys!
If you are doing any amount of remote streaming, I'd go for the Brix. Otherwise, if you are only going to be using the DVR locally, then the RPi should suffice.
I agree with racameron ... i would go for the brix even if at the moment you do not do much remote viewing ... you might in the future... always good to have more horsepower than less.
how do I get access to this build? I installed the most current version on Raspian and it show version 2019.08.15.2304 - I click update and it day I am "Up to date!"
Shift-click on the update button to access pre-release versions. (Or long-press if using a mobile device to access the web UI.)
I am experiencing this issue. Just setup a RPi 4. I am running 2019.08.15.2304 and tried both a Phio and Dish Network login. I can share a log if that helps.
Look at the 2 posts above yours. You need to update Channels DVR server to the latest pre-release version.
I did the update holding shift and it works great. The RPi 4 really seems to be doing a great job.
Hi everyone just curious about the new rpi4 build. My system Brix system freezes up every other week or so requiring a full power down reset. When it's working though, everything is great. Would the rpi4 build be more stable and of equal performance? Thanks
