Continued DVR crashing on iMac

I’ve seen other threads about this, but they are all older than when my issue began. For the past couple of months I’m seeing Channels DVR crash at least once or twice a week on my iMac. I have been running Channels DVR on this iMac for years with no issues. Any ideas? I can select the Channels DVR menu icon and choose restart, then everything’s working again. Super annoying.

Here are specs on my operating environment:
Mac OSX 12.6.1
Apple iMac 18,3
Channels DVR 2022.11.15.1908
Intel i5-7600K 3.8 GHz, 40GB RAM
Over 1TB free storage disk space (local)

What do you mean by crash? What exactly happens?

The Channels application cannot find the DVR server from either my AppleTV or iPhone. Also, if I try to open the Configuration page for Channels DVR it just spins and times out.
