I am about 3TB full of a 4 TB HDD. I purchased an 8TB drive last night. I am just clicking and dragging from the old HDD to the new and it says its going to take something like 20 hours to transfer. Is there a faster way of doing this that anyone might know about? I am using a MAC Mini btw.

Do it in smaller chunks. The reason that it is saying that it will take that long is because there are a few folders in there with a whole bunch of small little files. That scenario results in slow transfers. Once it moves to the actual video files, those will transfer significantly faster.
