this happens when a custom M3U8 stream times out or gets garbage
The git repo says:

The Program Clock Reference PID is invalid.
Should be on the primary video PID.
Either there is no PCR or it's on the wrong PID.
Is it an MPEG-TS or HLS source?
It is HLS.
