cTivo, MAC Mini, CableCARD TiVo & ATV

Is it possible to use this 'combination' in any way to use ChannelsDVR and an ATV to view TV & retain all of the 'audio' features. I'll likely never be able to rid myself of Xfinity CableCARD for TV and I've seen cTiVo mentioned in a couple reads but nothing very complete.

I DO NOT have a MAC or any MAC experience.

Thanks

cTivo is used to download TiVo recordings to a Mac.
If you have Windows you can use pyTivo Desktop to download your TiVo recordings.
Support for it is at TCF Easier to use pyTivo - pyTivo Desktop | TiVoCommunity Forum

Neither program will download DRM recordings (HBO/Cinemax/Starz/Showtime,...)

You can then import those recordings you download into Channels DVR as local content imports.

You could also use an HDHR Prime tuner to record cable w/cablecard directly into Channels DVR.

So maybe it's a better idea to just do a 3-tuner HDHR w/CableCARD directly? Can a mix of TVE and the HDHR be combined into channels?

Yes, that's what I use.
You can add as many supported sources as you like to Channels DVR.

I still have a TiVo Bolt w/cablecard as a backup, but haven't used it since I went to Channels DVR and the HDHR Prime.
