It seems the last channel gets lost when using PIP on the current beta.
For example you are on channel 17.1. Then you hit back on the remote to go back to the guide while PIP is active. Then you hit 23.11. Then Full size the screen. If you hit back to go back to the guide again. The last channel it highlights will be before 17.1, instead of 23.11 which is currently playing in PIP.
Would you mind going to TestFlight and installing the 8.26.1432 build and testing this to see if it works properly on that one?
Yes it still does it on that version as well.
Are you sure this is something that has changed recently vs a bug that has existed for some time that you have just now noticed?
If you can, try to install older builds to see if the problem goes away, and if so, let us know which build you installed where you saw the bug go away.
I think this has been going on for sometime. I just haven't used the tv much until now since football season is back on and I moved my antenna to a new location. So I was doing a lot more testing than normal and it was driving me nuts being on one channel then going back to the guide and it shows me the last channel I was on and not even close to what I am currently on. I will start testing much older versions. It doesn't do it on the current live (non beta) version. Report back soon.
Well I went all the way back to 6.4.1704 and still had same behavior.
Great, it sounds like it's a long standing issue and not anything that has been introduced with recent changes.

If this is the case, it sounds like the bug was fixed in the current public release, and then broke again with the newer prereleases
Hopefully this will get some love.
This issue is now in the released 7.0 as well.
