Custom Artwork Not Updating

Not sure if this is a bug but could someone explain why when I update a TV Show artwork to my own custom artwork, it never updates when playing the video. I also see this when it's placed in a Virtual Channel and the guide shows no artwork.

Thanks.
Doug

There's a checkbox to propagate onto the episodes when setting the art

Fantastic, thanks! That did work for the TV Show, but it does not show the artwork in the Virtual Channel Guide.

You may need to refresh your virtual channels after you make this change. The lineup of virtual channels is created and cached until the next update. This includes the metadata of each airing.

Refreshing your virtual channels would do it all over again with the new airing metadata, including the art.

Yep, that worked. A simple restart of the "Channels DVR Server" service (Windows PC) and everything was refreshed and all images were populated in the guide. Not sure otherwise how to refresh the virtual channels, but this technique worked.

Thanks guys! Learning something new everyday with this software and I'm enjoying it.

Find Virtual Channels under Sources in Settings in your web admin, and there's an option to refresh them.

Found it, thanks.

I'm having a similar issue and neither refreshing the virtual guide nor restarting the server seems to be working.

I've manually imported several seasons of a tv show to Channels. I've given the show a custom image (4:3) and each episode a custom image (16:9). If I go to the show via the tv shows tab on my Apple TV, all images show correctly. However, when I go to the virtual channel I made filled with this show, the episodes use only uses an image automatically downloaded from the internet, not the show or episode images I added.

I've also noticed if I go to the show using the server interface, the overall custom image and episode custom images appear normally. However, if I go to the manage tab and go to the show that way, it only shows the internet download image for each episode.

I assume I am missing something here, but I don't know what! Thankfully this is not a big deal. I've just spent too much time trying to figure it out. Thanks for any help.
