The same m3u/epg combination maps without issue if added to Jellyfin's live TV, but I don't want to use Jellyfin.
Anything interesting in the logs?
Nope. I just added the source and EPG fresh and this is all that's in the logs:
2025/08/25 10:30:37.654438 [M3U] Refreshed lineup for Test with 125 channels
2025/08/25 10:30:45.227993 [DVR] Fetched guide data for XMLTV-Test in 4s
2025/08/25 10:30:51.998678 [DVR] Indexed 0 airings into XMLTV-Test (0 channels over 0s) + 0 skipped [4s index]
2025/08/25 10:31:10.958853 [DVR] Indexed 125 channels (42000 airings + 3000 replaced) with placeholders [18s index]
2025/08/25 10:31:10.958978 [IDX] Pruned 0 expired groups from XMLTV-Test in 30.507µs.
I can still manually map channels in the sources editor but it's a lot and I don't know why it's not working automatically.
Does delete and recreate guide database help?
Why would it?
Indexed 0 airings into XMLTV-Test
My question is why isn't this working when the channels and guide data map perfectly fine in Jellyfin live TV? I'd much rather use Channels
It might have something to do with the tags that are being used. Can you post an example entry from both the M3U and XML files?
