Customize Quick Guide?

Regarding the Quick Guide: (swipe down on Siri remote circular touch area)
Is the source of info the "visible" channels selected in Settings > Manage Sources?
Can this possibly be changed to "Favorites" instead of visible?

Another question if you don't mind:
Is there a way to live tv using the Siri remote while watching a buffered channel? Example; I've pressed the play button while watching live tv to pause playback...I come back in a few and resume playback and want to get to live tv.

Settings > General > Live TV > Quick Guide, lets you choose.

I've created a Channels Collection of Favorites that works best for this, syncs on all devices nicely.

I just assumed that Collections weren't accessible in the Quick Guide...I'm probably notdescribing this properly. The Quick Guide allows me to (somewhat) quickly change channels while watching live. I just assumed you had to exit out of live TV to access Collections.

Ah, I think I understand. Would setting that to "Current Collection" achieve something close to what you're looking for?

Fofer, you have helped me just about every time I have posted. Sincere thanks for your time and help. There are so so many settings and things to tweak and I just don't dig deep enough. I'll check out the Live TV settings and start playing around with it. Part of the issue is that I'm blind and at least as of yet, I'm not a fluent screen reader user, so when something works I tend to leave it alone.

Now I've got the Quick Guide project in addition to the backup & migrate project to get going on.

the "Current Collection" option will use the current collection you started a channel from in in your Quick Guide.

So for example: If you're in the Favorites collection, and you start a channel to play, it will show the Favorites channels in the Quick Guide.

If you were in the Sports collection, and you start a channel to play, it will show the Sports channels in the Quick Guide. It just uses the collection you're in.
