Dark Mode for Server Admin?

There was a recommendation on the forums earlier about dark mode for server admin page - it was just closed this morning, marked as completed.

Does this mean it's coming in a new release shortly? Haven't seen anything yet.

Thanks.

It was an old thread that was going on and on, and there's no plans for it, so it was closed.

Except it wasn't really a thread - it was a Feature Request. I thought that would remain open if enough people responded to it? Also, it was marked as "Completed"

The comment saying we weren't planning on it was the "completed" answer. Not the feature request.

Feature Requests are not a todo list for active Channels development. They are not a roadmap. Feature decisions are not made in this forum. They're simply feature requests fans can submit. Voting has no bearing on development decisions. They just gauges interest that we reference in decision making.

That request has been mentioned for years and we've answered it the same way. I closed the thread so we wouldn't get more comments on it.

This is a community forum.

I can say:

WE KNOW. WE GET IT. WE UNDERSTAND.

But mentioning it, or BUMPING it, isn't going to change any priorities of ours.

It's hard to believe in this day and age that any app of any kind doesn't have a dark mode IMO. But it's not the end of the world.

Just DIY: I felt blue tonight

they still have issues like this, not a surprise something as simple as dark mode is not implemented. the web ui is very amateur, and to me says a lot about the teams skill level. personally, i'd never bother writing code for apple hardware, but the fact they didn't find a shared architecture/framework for all their clients, or at least try to make the experiences match, is a bit telling. the web ui feels like a different app.

theming is part of any decent CSS framework. this is not a lot of work if their code is half decent. but if their codebase is absolutely angel hair'd, i can see why they get a bit red in the face for such an easy ask. i saw maddox gushing over LLMs and saying he'd be getting so much done hehe

like others said, apply your own CSS which is very easy to do.

Thanks for your feedback.
