The Guide data and DVR just show a generic description instead of the daily guests for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. This there anyway to get the actual information.
No. The data shown is what is provided by Gracenote, Channels' provider of guide data. Accuracy of program data can vary, but Channels does not have control over it.
The only way is to use own EPG
I contacted our guide provider about this and they said they're no longer getting the guest info like they used to.
Does tmdb have more accurate info?
The problem with TVDB/TMDB is they are user submitted databases, and their episode data usually lags other providers. Also, IMDB does not seem to have the info, either.
