At some point recently, I believe the Channels app started defaulting to cancel on the delete confirmation dialog.
I’m finding this quite annoying. I can see defaulting to cancel for a confirmation to format a drive or reset a device; but for deleting a show?
I believe this behavior is new in tvOS 11
Bummer. I don’t see it in tvOS 11 for sleep (holding down home). In that case, it defaults to sleep and one has to down arrow to cancel.
That’s about when I noticed it switch, after the update last week. Not a fan of that behavior myself… prefer default to delete.

Because Sleep isn’t destructive. Deletion is a destructive action, so they default to Cancel to avoid mishaps.
