I got a new homerun and was setting it up for the first time. I added it and found I forgot to hide a channel that was a different language. So I went back and hid them on the hdhomerun and also disabled them in the settings of the DVR but it still shows up when I search.
I doesn’t show in guide or on now, but if I search a show it lists the channel I don’t want.
The channel should get deleted the next time the guide data updates, which is usually between 9-10am every day.
You can also click the little circle refresh icon next to the guide source under your HDHR in the web UI.
Actually I think the show search stays around for four weeks before it’s pruned.
Ya, I thought that would work too, but it didn’t.
I noticed when I refreshes it finishes a lot faster than the first time I added the hdhomerun.
I have two now, channel is disabled on both. I even tried to delete the tuners and re-add, same problem.
Ok, no big deal. As long as it disappears sometime.
