Deleted import videos reappear in release v2025.07.03.2243

Since updating to beta v2025.07.03.2243, manually deleted videos reappear a few minutes after deleting…

Any errors in the Channels DVR log?
Deleting from within Channels DVR will put them in Trash. You then need to empty Trash.
If deleting them from your disk, outside of Channels DVR, you need to prune deleted in Channels DVR.
And with the new version, pruned are put into the Trash.

You didn't mention what type videos they are.

I don’t see any errors in the log files. Also, these are simply YouTube videos (.mp4) manually placed into a watched folder which I’ve been using for years without issue. Now, if I manually delete a video from within the iOS Channels app or web interface, the video is removed and appears in the trash until a scan of the watched folders occurs, then magically it reappears in the list of videos and is no longer in the trash.

If a video is put in the trash, it's not deleted from disk until the trash is emptied.
If CDVR is scanning for new imports before the trash is emptied, it will reimport it.
How often is it scanning for new imports?
How long is your trash retention period?

Sounds like they changed the behavior and need to check the trash before re-importing something in the trash.

My scan frequency is every 5 minutes and my trash retention is 10 days…

I'm sure it's an unintended consequence of the changes made in that release version.
