Using Apple TV I accidentally deleted an ep of a TV show. I know CDVR doesn't do undelete. I went to the file system and the physical file was still there (phew). I made a backup copy "just in case". I forced a library rescan, and also waited for the periodic one. But that ep no longer shows in the CDVR library list. Is there a trick to convince CDVR it should be (back) there?

Channels has a trash. Trashed items live in there for a set amount of time (adjustable in Channels DVR Server settings), before they are removed from disk.
You can access Trash in the app via Settings > Trash and in Channels DVR Server in Library > Trash.
From there you can instantly restore anything that was added to the trash.
