Deleted recording not in trash

From the DVR/Manage screen, I clicked on the Trash button to delete a recording that was interrupted.
It is reported correctly in the log that it was deleted by the user:

2024/05/16 23:41:07.700490 [DVR] Deleted #37390 D:\DVR\TV\Jersey Shore Family Vacation\Jersey Shore Family Vacation S07E16 Happy Birthday Snooki 2024-05-16-2059.mpg (user)

This is the last line in the log right now, nothing after it.

Then I opened Library/Trash to remove it completely from the trash but the trash was empty!

So clicking on the Trash button in DVR/Manage actually deleted it completely without even saving it in the trash first.

Logs have been submitted as 26d28c02-947a-4127-9acf-e079b3324f80 .

It looks like your DVR had less than 20gb free, so a more aggressive deletion mode is activated. We can improve the log message to give a hint that is happening.

I was not aware of this feature. I don't know whether many users are aware of it.

What would be neat for the user is if there was a pop-up message like this:
