I have imported TV Shows on the DVR. I watched and deleted the shows and emptied the trash.
Example:
Good Behavior / Season 1 -- all shows (files) are deleted but the directory structure remains on the drive.
Previously, imports were not actually deleted.
This has changed since the last few pre-releases. If you update to the latest pre-release, when you delete items, they will go in the trash and eventually be removed from disk just like DVR recordings do.
Understood, but after all of the shows were deleted and the trash was emptied, the directory structure remained for the show. Will the directory structure always remain even if no shows are present? Meaning, I'll need to go clean up after all of the files are gone?
This is a known issue. We hope to make it better in the future.
