Could u tell me what domain address does Channels use to send diagnostics and other data to you?
I am working on hardening my network, and my adblocking DNS block lists and want to make sure it does not block your telemetry.
I tried to see via my DNS logs, but I am not sure.
You can use the App Privacy Report on iOS to see the full list of hostnames that are connected to by the Channels app.
Obviously custom images that you add to your guide and lineup will be additional hosts that are connected to.
What about tvOS? I can't find this option on the Apple TV.
I don't use Channels on my phone. But i guess that is the only way to see this then?
This is what show for the Channels app, i did submit diags a couple times to see if it triggered any thing else.
That looks like the ones used by our diagnostics.
As always, we suggest you don't do anything to limit the client or server from accessing everything on the internet because if you block something that your system needs to operate, you will start to see strange behaviors and it will be hard to track down what is going wrong.
