Did I miss a setting; not working every where

I’v been having problems with channelsTV stopping or frizzing for like 10 to 20 seconds now and then while watching TV. I was thinking maybe it’s my server or maybe a software issue. So two days ago I started from stretch, formatted the Mac mini, installed Big Sur, downloaded channels software and install it Went through all the setting making sure it’s all is correct. The problem is still there as well as a new one, I can watch remotely though the WEB, no problem, but if I try to watch on my iPhone or iPad, I get this message.

“ Your channels DVR server at home cannot be reach. Remote Access is enable, but we cannot reach your server. Please ensure the port 8089 has been properly forwarded from your router to the IP address of the Computer you installed Channels DVR server on.”

Again I can watch through the WEB “safari”.

It’s only on the iPhone or iPad where it’s not working. I deleted the port forwarding settings and added it again, restarted the router, as well as the switch and the mini. Made sure all the settings were correct within Channels, Port forwarding IP address to the mini is correct.

Still not working. In house TV works but still freezes now and then, watching on the WEB works great, nothing works on iPad or iPhone.

Any help would be great.

Does portchecker.co show 8089 as open?

Try updating to pre-release on your DVR, by clicking the dropdown next to Check for Update button and select the second option.

Updated the setting, pre release to 2021.04.15.2306.
restarted Channels DVR, launch the app, try to connect, away from home, get the same message.
WEB works great, no problems at all.

Is port 8089 opened on your router? Did you check portchecker.co? Make sure port 8089 is forwarded on your router from the ip address from your Channels DVR server.

yeah, its' open, tis funny I can watch it at work, in safari and on my phone if I watch through the WEB, but not the app.

I did check, Port 8089 is open.

I've reset your remote access sub domain. Please turn remote access off and back on, then wait about five minutes and try again.

went for a little walk down the street, try remotely and BAM, it work, you the man.

BIG THANKS.

also, no skipping and freezing so far.

sorry for the late get back....
again thanks

TV and menu scrolling still frizzing but iOS working great.
