The ad detection is a killer app for Channels DVR. I would like the feature to a be a bit more flexible and make it possible to fine tune the auto-skip feature depending on if the content is a movie or a TV show.
Basically, I want all movies to automatically autoskip the ads, but allow me to manually skip through the ads for tv shows.
All the data for a given show is already in the database, so this would seem to be a simple tweak.
