DirecTV cable authentication failed

DirecTV lost half its channels and when rescanning keeps losing more. I removed the and tried to add it back on with no luck. Keep getting Cable authentication failed and a something went wrong on our side message. I have tried everything, both Direct and DirecTV stream, restarted server and channels is up to date. Any suggestions?

There's a discussion regarding this topic. Several of us have had the same experience:

Yes, only rescan the individual channels that are missing. That's your best chance.

With DTV, you do not need to delete the source. Just pick the other one. If the authentication servers aren’t working, you’ll know. That way you won’t lose any working channels. Try early in the morning.
