DirecTV Error - Timeout?

Can't use DirecTV with TV Everywhere. Here is a screenshot and the logs with the user name X'd out.

Update server to latest pre release. May need to re scan each channel. There was known issues with direct tv authentication recently

Thank you, it worked. The only remaining issue is that it seems that DirecTV only make the lamest least watchable channels available via this streaming method.

Actually, DirecTV is one of the services that provide the most TVE channels. It is my main source in Channels and I get 125 channels with it. Some are better quality than others but overall pretty good.

Interesting. Are you able to get HGTV, NFL network or Hallmark channel via DirecTV/TVE? I can't even though they are on my service. They give me errors like this:

NFL Network:

Sounds like a firewall or network configuration issue causing those timeouts connecting to TVE servers

We successfully scanned and add 68 DirecTV channels. So, I don't see why a firewall/network issue would prevent some channels from being added and not others. If anything I would think that the scan timeout should be increased; or there's something else going on. The "client timeout" issue for adding DirecTV as a source was corrected in the pre-release version, so maybe this same issue for individual channels requires a similar solution?

If those 68 channels are channel number 6700 and above, those are the "free" channels eveyone gets, no matter which provider. They don't require auth using your DirecTV credentials.

Yes, they are all above 6700. So how would we diagnose what the issue is with authentication?

Are you able to login on nbc.com/live and watch on your dvr computer?

Yes, I can login and watch nbc.com/live with no issues on the dvr computer.
