DirecTV MyStream

DirecTV just announced that its MyStream sports-focused tier is available nationwide. It has just sports, local, and news channels. Does anyone know if this will work the same for TV Everywhere on Channels the same the other streaming tiers work?

I think you mean MySports?

Yes, thank you. I'm assuming that since it's under the DTV Stream the available TVEverywehre channels will still work with Channels. We're thinking of switching from YTTV to save money.

Yeah...I don't see why it shouldn't work with TVE. It's just DTV/Stream's special package. You get whatever that is non-DRMed and is on that package (plus the extras)

FWIW, I just signed up for MySports, and the only channels that came up in TVE are the more general/news channels, plus Big10 Network. No ESPN or Fox sports channels. Logging into the ESPN app directly works, though. I'll rescan tomorrow.

Update: Rescanned and FS1/FS2 authorized. Still no ESPN, but I'll keep trying.
Update #2: Managed to scan and add each ESPN channel individually.

I did the free five day trial and didn’t have any issues getting the channels you got plus the ESPN channels through TVE. However, we decided to stick with YTTV.

I'm trying it out too. I'm seeing the same for TVE support.

I have been able to use my DStream MySports credentials with the EPlusTV docker container to bring the ESPN linear channels into ChannelsDVR. Works great.

Needs RSN's to be really viable.

And CBS for Big 10 and March Madness
