Quick question... does TV Everywhere accept a satellite subscription to DirecTV or does it have to be the On-line DirecTV? A friend has satellite and would like to have Channels ... Thank You! Steve
DirecTV would just be the provider that authorizes streaming from the networks TVE live stream website.

Can he login with his DirecTV credentials and stream live from NBC https://www.nbc.com/live
My main source in Channels DVR is TV Everywhere using my credentials from my satellite DirecTV account. It works very well.
At one time, I witnessed Channels DVR recording 10 streams at once without any issues. That beats my 2-tuner DirecTV DVR. 
Although, to be fair, the picture quality is slightly better with DirecTV than TVE but overall acceptable.
