I'm unable to authenticate my DirecTV stream credentials in the channels server. Is this an ongoing issue?

There were some issues with DirecTV Stream that were fixed recently in a pre-release.

Make sure your server is running the latest pre-release:

I updated to pre-release but still having issues.

So I updated to pre release and that fixed the issue! Now just need to figure out how to remote stream. Says I need to open port 8089 but it should be open

You can either use port 8089 or use Talescale on the server and all clients.

I'm having the same issue with remote viewing and don't want to use tailscale

You may want to verify your port is actually open using an open port tool like:
Open Port Check Tool - Test Port Forwarding on Your Router

Depending on you ISP you may need to use Tailscale.
