My DVR server and 2nd location where I use the "away from home" have Internet downlink/uplink connections higher than the MPEG2 coding rates of all cable channels. My DVR server uses a Sandy Bridge CPU so Quicksync quality isn't the best while transcoding.
Is there a way to disable transcoding and just remux the MPEG2 stream? I know the IOS app allows the original streaming rate, but Android is limited to 8mpbs streaming.
You should be able to select Original. Can you screenshot where it's missing?
Thanks, you are correct there was Original setting.
I didn't see it at first on Android TV as when I opened the Menu it automatically showed all the other settings on the screen except Original. I had to select the up button to see it on the screen. Maybe the rest of the streaming quality settings can be shrunk so all the settings are viewable without having to scroll?
What device and screen size is this with?
