Disabled Channels-DVR in error

I've been migrating my server to a new intel system running linux server 20.04 and inadvertently disabled channels-dvr service on the new server through webmin.

The service disappeared from the list and when I rebooted it wasn't there so I reinstalled the service using the curl command. This looked to have installed again and didn't need reconfiguring, and the old file locations for recordings i could not update and when playing some of the channels on tablet I only got audio.

So I thought uninstall and reinstall and noticed that the original storage path is still listed but won't let me do anything to it

Is there a way to fully remove all traces of the installation including any settings it is holding and try from fresh install again as still getting audio only on some channels.

All was working previously to me disabling the service by accident

What device/app are you using where you only hear audio?

Samsung Tab S6

I've uninstalled and re-installed the service on the server and manged to remove the old settings as uninstall doesn't remove them.

cleared cache and data on tablet and reinstalled and same issue, just getting audio, if i choose a hd channel they play fine with video decoder set to hardware, but normal sd channels only produce audio

this is also same on the Samsung S20 FE 5G

both devices running 3.2.0

If I set to Hybrid the standard definition channels play, so it's odd that the HD channels work if set to Hardware but the SD channels don't.

That is normal behavior.

SD channels use mpeg2 and android phones don't have a hardware mpeg2 decoder.

That is odd as previously they were working, but why wouldn't it fall back to play direct?
