I have 3 recordings of Gold Rush that will not play. On the DVR, it shows 1.31 fps and I may get a single frozen frame. I checked all 3 of these. CPU is 30-50%. They do have commercials clipped. I've not had problems playing any other recordings on other channels. Playback is on AppleTV. I did manage to do a web playback, but it was challenged too, but would play with some interruptions.
What should I check to understand and fix this problem?
There have been issues on the Discovery channel feeds in the last couple of weeks since they switched CDNs. Yesterday they switched their servers back to their old CDN and things are back to normal.
It will probably be hard to salvage those recordings.
Thank you. Checks out. These were recorded on 10/21 and 10/28. i just kicked off a new recording on Discovery today and will see if it works. I can ditch these bad recordings as I have them on my Tivo too.
