DishNet Cartoon Channel 6041 Error

The scheduled recordings are failing on ch 6041 this morning even though the DishNet Channel is aurhorized. Here's a portion of the log:

I'm able to watch the channel directly by logging into DishNet Anywhere in a browser.

CN has not worked in a long time... its TVE feed sometimes works late night for Adult Swim, but that is it.

It does not matter what your provider is, the TVE stream does not come from them but form the CN site.

Thanks for your reply ... the interesting thing to me is that Channels DVR is successful at authorizing ch6041 using DishNet as a source and the TVE is watchable on DishNet's web version of Dish Anywhere. So it looks like the login path is wrong - probably should be something other than "//turnerlive.warnermediacdn.com."

Has been stated many times around the forms the feed you see on a providers website is not the TVE stream that is used by Channels. Same with using Xfinity Stream or Philo, YouTube TV, etc. they have a dedicated stream. Your TVE credentials is used for authorization only.

does not have a live stream anymore it seems

does have a live stream, but it may not be the tve that channels uses, i am not sure.

I opened up TVE on the TOON ch176 in DishNet Everywhere in Chrome and grabbed the source information for the show while it was playing ... Here's the DishNet video source info ...

DishNet is different from TV Everywhere. Channels DVR only connects to TV Everywhere

So there's no way to use my DishNet login for DishNet's https// address to login to their stream using ChannelsDVR?

There is one way using Chrome Capture for Channels but it's not simple.

So you're saying it's easier to use the HDMI capture method from a DishNet receiver - like I use for the Smithsonian Channel. Thanks ...
