Dispatch Android TV Launcher

Theres a new Android TV launcher that may be interesting for many here in the channels community.

It has extensive customization options, including the ability to hide content that doesn’t interest you as well as the option to toggle on or off any row of content you see on Dispatch’s homepage. So, for instance, if you’re not subscribed to Prime Video, you can hide that particular row so it doesn’t appear on your homepage and clog up your feed.

The launcher includes other user-focused features as well, which can either be enabled or disabled. This level of customization ensures you’re able to consume your preferred content in an environment that’s free of distractions and in line with your exact preferences.

This Medium Post breaks down all the features:

Lastly, I have requested the developers integrate Channels DVR like Plex using the channels API. If you could, could y'all show some love for channels support for this launcher on their development request page.

Thank you for sharing this. It appears to be an excellent solution. Although I have not yet tested it, the primary issue with launchers has always been the lack of features and integration. Additionally, the stock launcher was excessively bloated. This appears to strike a balance between the two. I have added a comment to your integration request page.

I set this up on my shield after seeing your post. Its a fantastic launcher! With the launcher now being my plex library, and a remote shortcut button to launch channels for live tv and recordings, this feels like what the directv stream box should have been.

I would strongly recommend this to anyone who likes to keep channels and plex content seperate, but still have almost seamless intergration between them

Looks nice but I'm not a Plex guy. I only use JF+Channels so this is a pass until they implement either. I'll just stick to Flauncher

be sure to let the developers know. Thanks in advance.
