Current local time should be displayed on the guide view.
The time should be visible at the top of the screen on iOS, no?
My bad, this was meant for the ATV version.
On tvOS, there’s a little notch in the grid header under the current time.
The notch is good but a clock in the upper right would be that much better. This is literally the ONLY thing I miss from my DirecTV set top box.

I will also say that for people with not the best eye sight, the notch doesn’t stand out enough to try designate the time.
A clock would be great. I never knew what the notch was for, but that’s still not a good replacement for the time being displayed.
Throwing in my vote for a current time indicator in the guide (FireTV).
I liked how SageTV did it with a thin but clearly visible vertical line that would cross the guide and show you where the current time was in relation to the guide as you scrolled down or horizonally.
Which seems to be a similar model to the notch mentioned in this thread.
