Fails with same error on both Synology pkg (v2021.09.03.2036) and Docker Container (v2021.08.30.2158)

On the Synology pkg install, rescanning DIY and Science worked
On the Docker install, rescanning DIY and Science both get
chrome failed to start: [95:95:0903/214907.012109:ERROR:browser_main_loop.cc(1390)] Unable to open X display.
So I updated the docker install to the latest prerelease and after a lot of rescan attempts and bouncing the container I got the channels back.
Will this ever end?
