Do I need HULU + Live for TVE?

I have a hulu account that does not include the live. Purchased for one year at $12. Billed at .99 / mo. I tried those credentials to add the Hulu as a source but the name of the service says Hulu Live, so from that I am assuming only Hulu+Live is compatible with TVE.
Is this correct or am I mistaken?

FYI, The $0.99 service does work with PlayOn, which then feeds to Channels.
