Do you frequently have TVE issues. . . Philo never does!

I frequently see people posting issues with TVE especially with YTTV and a few others. Primarily with authentication issues. I have been using Philo since July 2021. I have only had to remove & re-add source 1 time to fix philo. It just works. No issue with streaming limits, no authentication issues, no interupted recordings. Philo just works.

Philo offers a 7 day free trial. Is $28/mo. I currently get 101 TVE stations. I do not have a referal code. I have 0 financial incentive for you to sign up. Only thing I gain if you sign up is seeing fewer post about Hulu Live and YTTV not working. I am really tired of those post

Channels Availability by TVE

Edit: Philo is less $ then competitors do to limited channels. Does not include local/sports channels. I included screenshots of channel availability as well as link to TVE availability so you can see what is/isnt included. Philo is best for people who pair it with OTA (HDHR) setup.

Philo is great and nearly trouble free but a lot of people want the major sports channels. If Philo added a sports package with their current offering that would be awesome.

Philo definitely has its drawbacks, such as limited channels. But it works. Which is more than can be said of other providers. Philo plus ESPN docker maybe. I dont watch sports except olympics. So i am not qualified to give input on sports channels

It's not just lacking sports. At first glace the only news channels I see on their website are USA Today, BBC News and Cheddar. And none of these show on the TVE list screenshots above.

That could be a good thing, or a bad thing, YMMV, but that's certainly one of the big reasons Philo is less expensive than the others. The service lacks a lot of channels a lot of people want.

Very valid point. Philo is best for people who have OTA (HDHR) setup. But on plus side. Philo never breaks.

I have used Philo for years and still only pay $20/month. It has lost some of its TVE channels, just like the other services and many of its other nice channels are only available in the Philo app. My wife is the biggest user of Philo and prefers the Philo app, but like you say the Channels TVE access has been very solid. I only use the Channels TVE access as a bonus, because I mainly need Channels for my OTA local TV channels.

Yep, I'm out. Thanks for the sales pitch I guess but you get what you pay for.

Commercial skip on the Philo app ain’t too shabby either.

Only ever had one serious issue with Philo as a TVE provider in Channels, and it was fixed very fast.

I pay about $25 a month as i have the addon on that gets me Reelz. But i see the plan i have is Legacy now, and they raised their core price at some point....it still is the cheapest and "best" TVE provider imo.
I do not care about sport channels.
