Docker - Best Method To Run - RPi4?

I've been using a Synology NAS to run Channels and Docker for a few years. It's been great, but installing more and more containers onto my NAS which is primarily used as a backup for photos has made me uncomfortable. Also, I think Docker on Synology is different than other methods.

If I wanted to install Docker on a different platform, which is the best and easiest? Does a Raspberry Pi work well for this? I'd only be installing Channels based containers.

Linux. But if you are a windows or Mac guru they might be “easier” but you wouldn’t be asking this question in that case.

Which ones? Some require a lot more horsepower than others.

ARM cpu pi for docker wouldn’t be my first choice.
