Does the Channels Live app use a hdhomerun tuner when playing back a recording from the Channels DVR? I’m trying to figure out how many tuners I need with up to four tvs being in use at the same time.
No, the tuner is only used when watching live tv or making a recording. Once the recording is made, you don’t need the tuner anymore.
