Doesn't do a good job with ads and NASCAR

I have my DVR working pretty good, had it running a few weeks.
I find the ad skip works pretty great with most shows but it is very bad at NASCAR races.
I know I could go in and edit the ads but with a sporting event you have to worry about spoilers while doing that (an interview with a driver for example, sign they got eliminated).
Is there any remedy for this problem?
I see you can change the number of threads on ad detection but I assume that would only speed it up, not make it more accurate.
Any thoughts?

It is what it is. Channels DVR uses comskip (mostly) for ad detection.
number of threads just speeds it up.
On some TVE and Custom M3U sources, Channels DVR will use the new smart ad detection.
People have spent a lot of time and effort trying to make comskip perfect, but it never will be.
