A disk failed on me - and some episodes of recorded shows have been lost to me. It was very hit and miss what episodes I lost - so I am wondering is it possible for Channels to do a rescan of the episodes it has? The problem being of course - Channels thinks it has recorded them - so does not record them again, but they no longer exist. I just want Channels to spot the ones that are now missing and not re-record all of them again.
In the DVR web UI go to
Settings > General > Library Database > Maintenance 
> Manage Recordings Database
The Missing/Deleted tab will show recorded files that are missing from disk.
You can Trash them, then set the pass that recorded them to rerecord deleted.
Then empty the trash.
Not sure if there's another way.
