This feature is horrendous. Can it be changed?
This is a documented shortcut to go back to previous channel. I think this is a good shortcut. Plus no one really double taps the pause button to pause it.
I like it, please don’t change it.
I also use this feature all the time.

It’s not a bug, it’s a feature to go back to the previous channel. I’ve never accidentally hit it either, so I like it.
My mistake. The past week or two when I try to double tap the forward to skip a commercial it would pause whatever I was looking at. My bad.

I was trying to pause a specific point in one of the basketball games, which required hitting pause, play, pause, play… to get to the point I wanted to see. You are correct, that in most cases it would never be an issue. I was frustrated because changing the channel lost the cached content of the basketball game.
I believe the workaround for this case is to use the trackpad instead of the play/pause button. The double tap -> last channel function is only on the button.
