Is there a way to maintain downloads to iPhone app in the background? I know iOS deprioritizes downloads and other tasks in the background so they’d be slower. But while Netflix and others seem to be able to continue the downloads, I noticed channels seems to pause them if the app is not open. This is kinda frustrating when downloading a few things for the plan because I have to keep channels open and prevent the phone from going to sleep so it can continue. I appreciate this is probably a difficult problem space but figured I’d bring it up!
Downloads do stay open in the background. Maybe ensure the privacy settings for Channels is set correctly to allow background processing.
If you're still finding that it isn't actually doing it, submit diagnostics from the app.

Sorry you know what. It is actually downloading in the background. I checked the current download size then came back a few minutes later and it was higher.
What’s throwing me off is the fact that the progress circle initially is replaced by the “pause” icon when I come back to the app. But it does seem to be downloading.
