I’m storing recordings on a USB drive. I’m going to start using an internal drive or move to NAS storage. How can I keep from losing recorded shows, is it as easy as just copying the files to the new drive and updating the location in the app?

When updating the location, do I need to disable the DVR first? Will my subscriptions and settings be the same when I re-enable?

Yes you can move the recordings, uncheck the DVR box, update the path and check it again.

You can also move to a new system by installing the DVR and then visiting http://x.x.x.x:8089/restore to pull in all your old recordings and settings
