I saw this video a few days ago and I'm wondering if this workaround still works? If so, I have a Elgato - Cam Link 4K. Will this work for the video capture device he suggests in the video. And does this work on Mac as I have a Mac mini as my DVR server.
Im sure it still works but honestly it isnt worth the hassle. Just use a linkpi with adbtuner and you will have a setup 100x better than this.
This seems like a lot of work and I have heard good things about ADBTuner and a LinkPi. I am just not knowledgeable enough to know how to do any of this and get it out to my appleTVs, iPads and iPhones to play on ChannelsDVR.
So the article you posted is going to be much harder than linkpi and adbtuner. If you want to dive in we cna help you...
I didnt post it. I agree it seems much harder. If I cant figure out ABDTuner and linkpi I have no shot with this.
I know nothing about ABDTuner or linkpi. Is there more I can read up on it? I
