Dropped channels still show up after rescanning network

I've changed my Cable TV plan to one with less channels.
But the dropped channels still show up in the channel guide as well as "on-now" tab.
I've rescanned the tuner from the web UI, but it didn't fix it.

What should I do next?

Do a channel scan on the device, then restart your server.

Clicking "Scan Network" in the sources list area on the DVR web UI should fix this too

When changes are made as far as channels added removed sever side, etc... i just force close the app on the client device, then reopen app. It is then updated.

None of the suggestions worked. Then it dawned on me to rescan the channels from the tuner. I did that from HDHomeRun's web UI, and now the Channels app displays the correct lineup.
