Anyone else getting a lot of dropped frames on Apple TV 4K? Just noticed recently. Especially on NextGen channels. Switching back to the legacy video driver stops the issue.
what is a lot? I get a few as I change channels on my HDHR but then its stable.
yes, that used to be the case. But this is a constant increase. Hundreds and just keeps increasing.

Yes, tried that. And I deleted and reinstalled the app.Very strange. It's mostly on 3.0 channels though. Might just have to ignore next gen signals for now. Maybe channels isn't ready to play nice. It's just been working fine previously so not sure what changed,
I figured this one out. I had changed my Apple TV video setting (don't remember why) to YCbCr 4:4:4 in HDMI output. When I use RGB High or YCbCr 4:2:0 I don't have the issue.

You have an HDMI cable that is not capable of the full bandwidth of 4.4.4. I use YCbCr 4.4.4 all the time with no issue.

Possibly. 
Didn’t cause any issues with other apps though.
